Standard raise with 99 in cutoff, I'm happy to take the blinds here, but not exactly scared of seeing a flop.
*** FLOP *** [8d 9s 5h]
Andiell: bets 300
pairDboard21: calls 300
Sweet. Now this guy hasn't been out of line, so I figured I'd make a standard bet, make it look like a continuation.
*** TURN *** [8d 9s 5h] [Kh]

Now I check, I'm hoping he's hit the king, and I`m continuing the representation that I missed the flop and continue bet it. He bets, I raise, I raise because he could be on a flush or straight draw, so I can't let him take it for free, I expected him to fold, but was loving the push.
*** RIVER *** [8d 9s 5h Kh] [8h]

1st double up of the game, and crucial for getting me deep into the game.

This was a make or break move. We were approaching the bubble and I was a short stack, plus the blinds had just gone 200/400, so I really didn`t have any room to manouvre, I need to double or bust asap. The other guy had been very aggro in late position, so I figured I was %age wise probably ahead of his range.

This is interesting, just in that it's an odds call. Fairly straightforward, I`ve made a late position steal, the short stack has pushed. There is now 18142 chips in the pot, and it's costing me 5542 to call. I`m getting over 3 to 1 on the call. Standard.

Ok, it's a button raise, his range is very wide, I figure I'm probably ahead, or at least in good shape, plus he has more than enough chips to get away from this hand. He made the push, which wasn't terrible, but certainly not a move I would have done in his postition.

It's not a great hand but good enough to play with the stack I have. At this stage, most of the raises are coming from naked aces, so I'm prepared to lead out on any non ace flop, also there is the chance I may hit.
*** FLOP *** [Tc 2s 4h]

Perfect flop really, unlikely he has a ten, and difficult for him to play with his stack, he can only push after my raise.

This one plays itself, perfect flop, perfect turn, shame he didn't push. I really thought he had the ace and would go to the felt.

The limp from me in the sb was very suspect, so the A high flop was perfect to make a check raise and look like I was trying to get cute with a big Ace.
Immediately after this hand the other guy busted and we were heads up. The heads up hands are really not very interesting, I had no decent starting hand, I raised everything, and missed everything. Oh and he pushed all in every 2nd time I raised.
